The ride will start In Vila Real and the route will be made in a old rail trail, that is now a easy dirt track. We also have a route available for road bikes if that is the style of your group.
The views will be breathtaking...vineyards, farms and the famous Douro river in the picture.
In a full day it is possible to visit 1 Farm. The plan is to cycle in the morning, lunch, visit some viewpoints and farms (Lunch, Tickets to visit farms and wineries not included in the price package)
To have a more relaxing time to explore the area 3 different options are offered in 3 different package.
Route description:
- Routes available with 25 km, 50 km or 77 km
- The first 22 km are going in a descent way and the rest of the route can be in a uphill till Lamedo or relatively flat till Pinhão. It is also possible to do all the route.
- This easy bike tour can be adapted to be more challenged (difficult)
- In Self guided the bike tour will have a moderate climb of 15 km. Book a electric bicycle to make the route very easy.

Day 1: Vila Real - Régua - Lamego - Pinhão: 25 km, 50 km or 77 km
Itinerary Self guided bike tour Option 1;
Day 1: Transfer from Porto to Vila Real: - Vila Real - Régua - Lamego: 40 km
- Sleep in Farm: Hotel rural Visconde Varzea
Day 2: Lamego - Pinhão: 35 km - Trasnfer back to Porto
Itinerary Self guided bike tour Option 2:
Day 1: Transfer from Porto to Vila Real: - Vila Real - Régua - Lamego: 40 km
- Sleep in Farm: Hotel rural Visconde Varzea
Day 2: Lamego - Pinhão: 35 km - Sleep in Farm: Quinta de la Rosa
Day 3: Transfer back to Porto
Pick up 8:30 am and estimated end ant 7 pm: Vila Real - Régua - Lamego - Pinhão: 25 km, 50 km or 77 km
Self guided Option 2: 8h00 Pick up in Porto district and transfer to Vila Real: Route: Vila Real - Régua - Lamego: 40 km
