Day 2: Coimbra - Santa Comba Dão
Starting this day, you will be riding near the river in order to be out of the city center of Coimbra. Pretty much all today's ride will take you along the N110, a scenic national road that runs parallel to the Mondego River, offering stunning views of the water and the surrounding landscapes. This well-maintained road provides a smooth and direct path for cyclists, connecting several small towns and rural villages, all while highlighting the beauty of central Portugal.
The N110 allows for a calm and pleasant ride, with gentle elevation changes and its proximity to the Mondego River also adds an extra layer of serenity to the ride, as the river’s presence creates a calm and refreshing atmosphere throughout the journey.
